Job Summary

The Maintenance Supervisor 1 will be responsible for overseeing and supporting maintenance activities, including building trades and shops for state and contract trades staff, state and contract custodial staff, review of purchase requests, assisting with laboratory renovation projects, and equipment management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Supervise and support maintenance staff, including trades staff and custodial staff.
  • Review and approve purchase requests to ensure compliance with state regulations and policies.
  • Assist with laboratory renovation projects, including planning, coordination, and execution.
  • Manage equipment and ensure that it is properly maintained and serviced.
Requirements
  • One year of trade experience subsequent to the completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
