Responsibilities:
The primary objective of Environmental Services is to maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff, in alignment with the mission and philosophy of St. Peter's Health Partners.
Key Duties Include:
- Performing general cleaning and floor maintenance tasks.
- Assisting the Supervisor with various functions, including but not limited to: planning, scheduling, staff oversight, inventory management, and special projects. Collaborating with the Supervisor to ensure the cleanliness of the facilities.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Candidates must be capable of lifting, pulling, and pushing up to 50 pounds, and possess a basic understanding of cleaning techniques such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing.
- Conducting thorough room cleaning: adhering to all processes as outlined by training policies to ensure all areas, fixtures, and surfaces are cleaned daily or as assigned, and in a timely manner.
- Complying with all infection control policies and procedures.
- Reporting any issues encountered during daily tasks to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Performing any other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Director.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to perform the functions and responsibilities associated with housekeeping.
- Candidates must be able to lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds, and have a basic understanding of cleaning methods.
Compensation:
$19.74
Compensation is determined based on experience, skills, and education.
Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be compensated within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary based on location.
