Job Title: Registered Nurse 2

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse 2 to join our team at the University of Miami. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality medical services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and evaluate patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Administer medications and treatments, maintaining accurate records and adhering to regulatory guidelines.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families, promoting a compassionate and inclusive environment.
  • Participate in discharge planning, ensuring a smooth transition of care and addressing any concerns or needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and best practices, applying this expertise to improve patient outcomes and enhance the quality of care.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing, required.
  • CRN preferred.
  • Registered Nurse License; Basic Life Support Certification (BLS); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
