Job Summary:

Surgical Technologist needed for a dynamic Ambulatory Surgical Center in Annapolis, MD. As a Surgical Technologist, you will provide direct patient care and maintain a safe environment for patients and the OR team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, demonstrating basic patient care concepts, surgical asepsis, and basic surgical case preparation.
  • Maintain a safe environment by ensuring a sterile environment, using equipment properly, and performing terminal cleaning of the ORs and surgical suite.
  • Function as a first scrub in ENT, Oral surgery, General Head and Neck, and Facial Plastics surgical procedures.
  • Demonstrate proper care of instrumentation, including cleaning and sterilization of surgical equipment.
  • Perform circulating skills and tasks as directed.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited surgical technologist program.
  • Must have completed a minimum of 125 surgical procedures in the role as first scrub or minimum 1 year experience with a strong supervisory reference.
  • American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS.

Benefits:

  • Full-time benefits package available.
  • 10-hour shifts, 7am-5:30pm weekdays.
  • No weekends, no holidays, no call.
