Product Manager at Air Canada

As a Product Manager at Air Canada, you will be responsible for leading the development, launch, and maintenance of core digital products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive product strategy, define product roadmaps, and ensure successful execution of the product vision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and articulate a compelling product vision and strategy that aligns with Air Canada's business objectives.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product performance, track adoption, engagement, and revenue.
  • Create and communicate product roadmaps and define and prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer needs, market analysis, and business goals.
  • Champion the customer's voice and ensure a customer-centric approach in all product decisions and initiatives.
  • Drive the end-to-end product development process, including discovery, problem and solution definition, design, development, testing, and launch.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure products are developed to meet customer needs and adhere to quality standards.
  • Monitor and analyze product performance, user feedback, and market trends to iterate on existing products and identify opportunities for new product development.
  • Lead a team of product owners, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure individual and team success.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the product team, promoting cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Set clear goals and expectations, identify opportunities for growth and work with product owners to help them develop and grow in their careers.
  • Work closely with development, design, marketing, loyalty, business development and other business teams to align priorities, resolve conflicts, and ensure successful product launches.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, customers, and partners, to gather feedback, align expectations, and drive product adoption.
  • Communicate product updates, milestones, and launches to internal teams, external partners, and customers.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop effective product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Stay connected to industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain a leading position in the loyalty and airline industry.
  • Conduct market research and customer interviews to gain insights and validate product ideas.
  • Use data-driven approaches to analyze product performance, customer behavior, and market dynamics to make informed product decisions.
