AutoZone is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Supervisor to join our team. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading store operations, managing commercial sales, and ensuring maximum productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Store Manager with supervising, training, and developing store personnel
  • Assume responsibility for store operation and commercial department in Store Manager's absence
  • Manage commercial and hub departments to ensure commercial accounts and stores are serviced and deliveries are made as promised
  • Delegate and ensure store merchandising tasks are completed in a timely manner
  • Operate cash registers and follow established cash handling duties
  • Ensure all company policies and loss prevention procedures are followed
  • Utilize ZNET to help customers locate merchandise or find suitable alternatives
  • Maintain a safe working environment and ensure AutoZoners are implementing safety practices
  • Monitor cash flow, inventory, and security control
  • Maintain sales productivity, store appearance, and merchandising standards
  • Conduct and review all opening and closing procedures
  • Manage emergency situations and conduct proper emergency procedures
  • Follow proper accident procedures
  • Provide feedback regarding AutoZoner performance to Store Manager
  • Assist with monitoring and managing all activities related to Risk & Safety Management
  • Address customer concerns and resolve them with a goal of turning a complaint into a compliment
  • Process returns and effectively manage inventory
  • Communicate AutoZoner issues and concerns to Store Manager in a timely and confidential manner
  • Motivate AutoZoners to provide WOW Customer Service, enhance productivity level, and market products to enhance sales and profits
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • ASE Certified preferred
  • Demonstrates high level of integrity
  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills
  • Ability to drive customer service
