Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Solutions Architect to join our team at Hornet Staffing, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in evaluating business needs and determining how IT can support those needs through software, hardware, or infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in overall solution design, integration, and reporting
  • Responsible for most technical aspects of solutions including custom code, configuration, data quality, development, and information security
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on system architecture as it relates to business and IT strategies
  • Act as an advocate for ensuring that solutions align with enterprise architecture principles, policies, and standards
  • Collaborate with internal technology teams to develop solutions
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Assist in documenting the architecture environment and procedures to ensure production support remains cost-effective and of high quality
  • Maintain expertise in the area of architecture, including industry trends, strategies, and products to ensure that company assets are effectively and efficiently utilized
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting for complex and intractable problems
  • Prepare and document testing requirements
Requirements
  • 8+ years of IT work experience in multiple IT areas in a multi-tier environment, including experience managing and leading teams
  • Knowledge of all components of holistic enterprise architecture
  • Knowledge of business re-engineering principles and processes
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation
  • Strong leadership skills, excellent analytical and technical skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent planning and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Enterprise Architecture tools and banking technologies
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
