At Simpson Gumpertz and Heger Inc., we're seeking a highly skilled Project Consultant, Building Technology to join our team. As a key member of our Building Technology division, you will play a crucial role in designing, investigating, and rehabilitating structures, building enclosures, and materials.

With a strong technical education and professional experience, you will assist with new design, evaluation, investigation, and design of repairs for existing buildings. Your expertise will be essential in applying engineering principles, physics, and materials science to make buildings durable, energy-efficient, and resistant to water infiltration.

As a Project Consultant, you will work under the direction of a licensed engineer and collaborate with our industry-leading teams to advance the meaning of what's possible. Your strong technical education, professional demeanor, and desire to learn will be essential in this role.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Assisting with new design, evaluation, investigation, and design of repairs for existing buildings
  • Applying engineering principles, physics, and materials science to make buildings durable, energy-efficient, and resistant to water infiltration
  • Collaborating with our industry-leading teams to advance the meaning of what's possible
  • Working under the direction of a licensed engineer

Anticipated annual base salary: $78,520 - $103,480. This range is a good-faith estimate provided pursuant to the California Pay Transparency Law. The actual salary offered may vary from the range, as permitted by the California Equal Pay Transparency Law, and will be based on several factors including the candidate's experience and qualifications, education, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
