Behavioral Therapist and Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Therapist and Educator to join our team at ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education. As an innovative organization with a social mission, we strive to provide hope and opportunities for growth to individuals in need.
As a Behavioral Therapist and Educator, you will play a vital role in delivering instructional processes for students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Your expertise will help create a collaborative environment that promotes social development and group responsibility. You will establish a firm, fair, and respectful classroom environment while implementing established school-wide and classroom Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) programs.
About the Job- Plan, prepare, and implement instructional processes for students with IEPs.
- Establish a climate that promotes social development and group responsibility.
- Implement established school-wide and classroom PBIS programs.
- Record student progress/records, maintain student files, and prepare reports on students and activities.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in education or a related field.
- Meet all state teaching license and/or certification requirements.
- Active special education certification.
- Prior experience working with curriculum development, differentiation, and instruction in an elementary and/or middle school classroom setting.
- Prior experience working with students with IEPs.
- Prior experience working with students with autism.
