Key Responsibilities
  • Cultivate a High-Performing Team: Lead and motivate staff to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring all team members perform at a consistently high level.
  • Staff Development and Training: Assist in hiring, retention, coaching, and discipline; ensure execution of staff training programs.
  • Operational Excellence: Continuously improve operational execution through attention to detail and adherence to Urban Air operating standards and philosophies.
  • Inventory and Expense Control: Assist the General Manager with inventory and controlling expenses.
  • Employee Recognition and Incentives: Ensure execution of all employee recognition and incentive programs as directed.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
Requirements
  • Experience in Hospitality: 3+ years of supervisory or management experience in a hospitality setting, such as theme parks, family entertainment centers, hotels, resorts, casinos, or restaurants.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to develop team members in areas of responsibility and lead by example.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to write and verbally communicate in a clear and concise manner, and ability to establish working relationships with all employees, management, and vendors.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays, and adapt to changes or challenges.
