Job Summary

BAART Programs is seeking a highly skilled Medical Director to lead our Medically Assisted Treatment programs in Sioux Falls, SD. As a key member of our team, you will provide patient care, medical evaluation, and establish dosing levels while interacting with regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and supervise provision of treatment for patients, ensuring quality and customer service.
  • Sign patient record notes and oversee patient care provided by physician extenders.
  • Admit patients for Methadone and Buprenorphine Treatment and manage site emergencies.
  • Confer with patient's private physician as needed and examine staff after on-the-job accidents.
  • Provide patient education and maintain strict patient, employee, company, and computer confidentiality.
Requirements
  • Board Certified or Eligible in Addiction Medicine or Family Practice.
  • Current SD license and ability to prescribe methadone and buprenorphine.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Addiction Medicine and satisfactory drug screen and background check.
