Aveanna Healthcare Private Duty Nurse RN

Aveanna Healthcare is a leading national provider of home health services to medically fragile children and adults. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse RN to join our team.
About the RoleAs a Private Duty Nurse RN, you will provide one-on-one care to our patients in their homes, assisting them with transitioning from the hospital and providing continuous care to remain at home with their loved ones. You will work closely with our patients, their families, and our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Implement physicians' prescribed plans of care
- Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care
- Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
- Document care provided in our system of record
- Teach and train family members on health promotion and disease management
- Accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
- CPR certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
- 6 months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred
