Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Assistant General Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on guest experience, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a hands-on management style.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to guests via email, phone, or in-person.
    • Present a professional appearance and adhere to our smart casual dress code.
  • Store Operations
    • Ensure the store is set up and opens on time.
    • Complete the Weekly Roadmap and manager log at the end of each shift.
    • Manage beer, liquor, and wine inventory using inventory sheets.
    • Book private events and large parties following our SOP.
  • Team Management
    • Create schedules for the FOH team using labor projections.
    • Ensure all shifts are covered.
    • Manage onboarding of new FOH hires and provide training.
    • Ensure the FOH team's training is up-to-date regarding policies, procedures, products, events, and specials.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a restaurant Assistant General Manager or similar role.
  • 5+ years of experience in customer service management.
  • Extensive food and beverage knowledge.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Familiarity with restaurant management software (R365 and Toast).
  • Experience in event planning.
  • Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills.
  • Good financial management skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Team player.
  • Good time-management skills.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Culinary school diploma or BS degree in Business Administration.
