This role is essential in implementing comprehensive care strategies that promote the success and well-being of both students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employ holistic care approaches to support students and staff, fostering a culture of responsibility and compassion.
  • Adhere to the guidelines set forth by the Association of Christian School International and utilize the Abeka curriculum to enhance the educational experience.
  • Follow lesson plans provided by the primary educator to ensure a seamless learning environment.
  • Effectively manage the classroom to encourage engagement, minimize disruptions, and maintain a positive atmosphere.
  • Adapt instructional methods to meet the diverse needs of each student.
  • Supervise students in various settings, including hallways, playgrounds, and cafeterias, ensuring their safety at all times.
  • Build and nurture relationships with students and their families, demonstrating love, acceptance, and sensitivity.
  • Maintain a safe environment for students throughout the school day.
  • Exhibit flexibility and openness to new ideas and challenges, seeking guidance when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience working with children is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience with developmental disorders is a plus.
  • Proficiency in office software, including spreadsheets, databases, and word processing.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
