In this crucial role, you will enhance our delivery framework, ensuring efficient and timely service across our operational network. Key Responsibilities:
- Route Optimization: Utilize Roadnet Anywhere (RNA) software to craft the most effective delivery routes, focusing on cost efficiency and service quality for next-day deliveries.
- Performance Analysis: Examine daily performance reports to assess actual versus planned routes, providing insightful feedback to the transportation management team for ongoing enhancement.
- Compliance Monitoring: Supervise eManifest reports to ensure compliance with service standards and company regulations.
- Route Management: Update daily routes in our ERP system, considering delivery zones, holiday schedules, and other pertinent factors.
- Delivery Coordination: Ensure alignment of all pickups with deliveries and manage reshipments for accurate delivery days.
- Data Validation: Verify the accuracy of Roadnet Mobile usage and ensure all drivers are submitting reliable data.
- Parameter Maintenance: Regularly refresh RNA parameters, including equipment, driver details, and fleet information.
- Issue Communication: Collaborate with local sales, customer service, and accounts receivable to resolve routing-related challenges.
- Leadership Collaboration: Partner with local distribution center leadership to oversee transportation staffing and facilitate smooth routing transitions.
- Geocoding Verification: Ensure customer geocoding accuracy and rectify any discrepancies.
- Exception Handling: Manage orders that do not meet minimum order quantities or require rescheduling, communicating necessary adjustments.
