Job Summary

Vinfen is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Counselor to join our team. As an Awake Overnight Counselor, you will provide direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a small group residential setting or an individual living arrangement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medication under the Medication Administration Plan (MAP)
  • Implement treatment plans to promote independence and quality of life
  • Assist individuals with activities of daily living, including personal care and hygiene
  • Perform nightly cleaning and filing duties

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in a Human Services-related field preferred
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or acquired brain injury strongly preferred
  • Strong time management and writing skills
  • Current, valid US driver's license for at least one year
  • Ability to become CPR, First Aid certified within 2 weeks of employment and MAP certified within 150 days of employment
  • Pass a CORI, reference, national fingerprinting, and driving record check
