Job Title: Senior Program Manager

This position is contingent upon contract award. Candidates must have an active Secret clearance and verify, before applying, that they meet the minimum requirements of the position.

Job Summary:

JANUS Research Group is seeking a Senior Program Manager in support of the NAWCAD WOLF IC2&IS division to perform tasks in support of assigned Distance Learning and Knowledge Management related technologies and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, manage, and administer the contracted effort in support of DL.
  • Serve as the primary interface and point of contact with Government program authorities and representatives on technical and program/project issues.
  • Oversee contractor personnel program/project operations by developing procedures, planning, and directing execution of the technical, programming, maintenance, and administrative support effort and monitoring and reporting progress.
  • Manage acquisition and employment of program/project resources and controls financial and administrative aspects of the program/project with respect to contract requirements.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Technical, Computer Science or IT discipline or Bachelor's degree plus ten years of additional work experience.
  • Of the minimum 10 years of required experience, at least 5 years of the experience must be in the management of complex computer systems efforts to include content development and maintenance projects for training programs.
  • Active Project Management Professional Certification required.
