The Kroger Company is seeking a highly skilled Asset Protection Security Specialist to join our team. As an Asset Protection Specialist, you will play a critical role in protecting our company's assets and ensuring the safety of our customers and associates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Detect and deter external theft suspects: Utilize your keen observational skills to identify and prevent external theft attempts, ensuring the integrity of our stores and assets.
- Reduce customer and associate dishonesty: Implement and promote actions to minimize customer and associate dishonesty, fostering a culture of trust and integrity within our organization.
- Monitor large shrink areas in stores: Conduct regular surveillance and monitoring of high-risk areas to identify and address potential security threats.
- Report incidents to the asset protection manager: Provide timely and accurate reports of incidents to the Asset Protection Manager, ensuring prompt action is taken to address security concerns.
- Support customer and associate relations: Communicate effectively with customers and associates to resolve security-related issues and promote a positive shopping experience.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in loss prevention or security preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
