Job Summary
The Surgical Technologist II functions in a perioperative surgical technologist role under the direction of the circulating Registered Nurse at Lee Health. This position requires the ability to prioritize, organize, and implement care of the surgical patient in a variety of specialties.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform surgical procedures in a variety of specialties
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and satisfaction
- Participate in call obligations as assigned
Requirements
Education and Experience
- Graduate of an accredited program for surgical technologists or an accredited vocational school of nursing
- Minimum of [insert number] years of surgical tech experience
Certifications and Licenses
- BLS (American Heart Association / Basic Life Support) certification
- CST certification preferred
