Surgical Technologist II

Lee Health is seeking skilled Surgical Technologists to join our team in various hospital campuses across Southwest Florida. As a Surgical Technologist II, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, working closely with our experienced surgical teams.
Responsibilities- Assist in preparing patients for surgery, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
- Maintain a sterile environment during surgical procedures, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, nurses, and surgeons to ensure seamless execution of surgical plans.
- Participate in post-operative care, monitoring patients' recovery and providing support as needed.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure exceptional patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
- One year of experience as a Surgical Technologist, with a preference for those with CST certification.
- Ability to work variable shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
