About the Role:

  • Develop and implement electrical design solutions for industrial facilities and infrastructure projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical design meets project requirements and safety standards.
  • Estimate electrical design scope, schedule, budget, and phasing, and explore site issues.
  • Research and apply knowledge of electrical codes and standards to designs.
  • Design and detail electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior designers and engineers.
  • Prepare and review contract documents, including drawings and specifications.
  • Perform site visits to observe existing conditions and identify solutions to problems.
  • Conduct quality control and assurance programs and report findings and recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical design for facility and infrastructure projects.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for an Associate's degree in Applied Science/Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Architectural/Engineering.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD, and other electrical design software.
  • Experience with lighting calculation software and power system analysis software.
