The Senior Case Management Supervisor will oversee case management and support staff, ensuring compliance with job responsibilities and organizational standards while managing a designated caseload. This role also involves developing and recommending cultural education initiatives to better support clients in adapting to life in the United States.
This position requires effective functioning with moderate supervision, adhering to established procedures, and complying with agency, federal, and state regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage a caseload of clients in accordance with contract obligations and organizational standards (approximately up to 10 cases);
- Provide guidance and support to case managers and support staff as necessary;
- Update program documentation, forms, and manuals as required;
- Recommend and implement training programs for case management and support teams as needed;
- Participate in client file reviews as necessary;
- Collaborate with the Program Supervisory team to assess adherence to policy implementations for case management and support teams;
- Attend supervision meetings with case management and support staff to ensure compliance with job responsibilities, provide feedback, and offer support;
- Provide case management coverage support within the program as needed;
- Assist in the execution of all corrective action plans (CAP) by conducting CAP activities for case managers during meetings;
- Ensure compliance with training completion for case support and case managers in accordance with Bethany Christian Services, Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), and Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) and external stakeholders;
- Promote the Sanctuary Model of Care within case management and support teams;
- Stay informed about all agency, federal Council of Accreditation (COA), and state regulatory requirements related to social services;
- Foster a culture that aligns with Bethany's mission, vision, and values;
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Behavioral Sciences, Social Services, or a related field from an accredited institution;
- Minimum of three (3) years of progressive experience demonstrating supervisory and case management skills;
- Bi-lingual in English and a second language is strongly preferred;
- Proven ability to serve diverse client groups, including refugees and other minority families;
- Exhibit leadership qualities that align with agency and program values while demonstrating a collaborative spirit;
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities;
- Demonstrated clinical, therapeutic, and crisis intervention competencies;
- Proven capacity for delivering compassionate customer service;
- Able to work independently while maintaining a high level of confidentiality;
- Adhere to all agency and departmental safety protocols, including reporting unsafe practices and environments;
- Must pass required medical evaluations and possess the physical capability to perform essential job functions;
- Proficient in computer skills necessary for essential functions, including knowledge of Microsoft Office suite;
- Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and a minimum of 3 years of driving experience in the U.S. to operate a vehicle on behalf of Bethany. Must also pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check and maintain a reliable vehicle with proof of adequate insurance coverage;
- Pass a criminal history screening, including state and local child protection agency registries;
- Commitment to and integration of the agency's Statement of Faith and Mission Statement.
