Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Field Auto Claims Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in assessing and estimating damages for both first and third-party auto claims, ensuring accurate and fair resolutions. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in auto damage estimation and demonstrate exceptional technical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of complex auto damage claims, providing detailed estimates for resolution.
- Utilize advanced estimating software to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Serve as a mentor to junior team members, sharing expertise and best practices.
- Negotiate settlements and manage documentation for high-severity claims.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to facilitate effective claims processing.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements to improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent experience in the insurance field.
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience in auto claims adjustment.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain necessary adjuster licenses as required by state regulations.
Skills:
- Proficient in estimatics software (Mitchell/CCC/Audatex, etc.).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Adaptability to changing environments and the ability to meet deadlines.
