Position Summary:
As a Quality Assurance Manufacturing Specialist at HRT Solutions, you will be integral in maintaining the excellence of our products. This hands-on role requires collaboration with various teams, including Production, Quality Control, Supplier Quality, and Warehousing, to ensure the quality of our initial builds and support our growth in operations. This position presents a unique chance to influence the early stages of groundbreaking product development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform measurements, evaluations, inspections, and audits to uphold product control standards within your assigned area.
- Document inspection outcomes in our Quality Management System.
- Assist in addressing non-conformities and executing corrective measures.
- Offer insights on quality processes and tools to foster ongoing improvements.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization in inspection areas, including receiving zones, metrology labs, and production floors.
- Detect and report quality discrepancies or variations in materials.
- Uphold and promote safety protocols in all activities.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy manufacturing assembly or quality inspection.
- Skilled in using industry-standard measurement tools, such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMMs, and optical comparators.
- Knowledgeable about industry standards and auditing requirements, including ISO 9001 or equivalent, NADCAP, ASTM, IPC 610/620/J-STD-001, etc.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication abilities.
- Normal color vision is necessary for accurate color assessment during the manufacturing process.
