We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at Orthopedic Associates. As a key member of our medical staff, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our physicians.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience. This compensation package includes a comprehensive benefits plan, opportunities for professional growth and development, and a collaborative work environment.

**Job Summary:**

  • Provide medical care to patients under the supervision of a physician.
  • Conduct physical exams, take medical histories, and diagnose illnesses.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and ordering diagnostic tests.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and treatments.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  1. Admit and manage surgical patients, including pre-operative and post-operative care.
  2. Consult with physicians as needed and refer patients to specialists when necessary.
  3. Counsel patients and families on preventive health care and wellness strategies.
  4. Participate in educational programs and workshops to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

**Physical Demands:**

This position requires standing, walking, and moving patients, as well as lifting and transferring patients up to 50 pounds. The ability to bend, stoop, and reach is also essential. Regularly required to talk and hear.

**Travel Requirements:**

May require travel to all Orthopedic Associates locations, including satellite offices. May also require travel to other locations as business needs arise.
