Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement behavior plans at a client's home or community setting. Your primary responsibility will be to help clients acquire new skills, reduce problem behaviors, and improve their overall quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Travel to client homes and community settings to deliver services
  • Work one-on-one with children and adolescents to implement behavioral plans
  • Incorporate families and caregivers into therapy sessions as per the treatment plan
  • Collect detailed and accurate data collection and service notes
  • Receive ongoing support and mentorship from GOALS supervisors

Requirements
  • Passion for helping special needs individuals and patience is a must
  • Reliable, timely, organized, and great attention to detail
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Ability to obtain a negative TB test
  • Reliable transportation, public or private
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • College credit, Associates, or Bachelors degree preferred
  • Childcare and/or special needs experience preferred
  • Monday-Friday availability preferred
