Responsibilities:
* Performs a variety of patient care and therapeutic activities
* Formulates programs/groups for treatment and rehabilitation of psychiatric patients
* Monitors outcomes as a member of the team
* Participates in continuity of care and/or discharge planning
* Facilitates advance care planning
* Develops individual treatment plans based on psychiatric diagnosis, identified problems, and treatment needs for each case
* Documents patient care activity in institutional electronic healthcare record in accordance with departmental documentation policy
Requirements:
* Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health, or related field
* Active licensure in the state of California
* 2 years or more of experience working with children or families with developmental differences
* Knowledge of empirically supported psychotherapy treatment approaches
* Commitment to providing exceptional client care and using client feedback to improve care
* Open-mindedness and desire to learn from other professional disciplines and knowledge bases
