Respiratory Therapist

About the Role:
Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide high-quality patient care, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer oxygen and other therapeutic gases as prescribed by physicians
- Perform chest physical therapy and other respiratory treatments as needed
- Monitor and manage patients with breathing disorders or cardiovascular problems
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and families on respiratory care and disease management

Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital is a 171-bed non-profit, community teaching hospital located in Jamaica Plain. Requirements:
- Associated Degree in Respiratory Care
- Current Massachusetts Board of Respiratory Care license
- Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Current BLS certification
- ACLS and PALS certifications required within 90 days of employment
