Job Summary

The Facilities Director is responsible for overseeing the management of hospital and clinic facilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies and maintaining a high level of customer service and patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the renovation, repairs, maintenance, cleaning, grounds, utilities, and safety program for hospital and clinic facilities.
  • Oversee security personnel and ensure compliance with Environment of Care standards.
  • Ensure all standards and codes of the State of Washington, MFPA, and other regulatory agencies are met or exceeded.
  • Manage all aspects of Food & Nutrition services, including patient foodservice, retail, cafeteria, catering, quality improvement, sanitation, infection control, and hospital-related activities.
  • Oversee Plant Operations, Environmental Services, Security, and Food and Nutrition departments.
Requirements
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in hospital facilities management or a related setting, with five (5) years spent in a leadership role.
  • Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM), Certified Plant Maintenance Manager (CPMM), or Certified Facility Manager (CFM) preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Facilities Management, Food Services Technology/Management, or a related degree required.
