Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Reliability Engineer to join our team at Boeing. As a key member of our Global Real Estate and Facilities team, you will be responsible for establishing and executing a comprehensive Reliability Program in the Puget Sound North Region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and sustainment of the Boeing Reliability Program
  • Partner with external suppliers in the development of joint programs based on shared best practices
  • Effectively communicate with site teams on Reliability Program development, implementation status, upcoming actions/events, and help needed
  • Lead teams to develop complex conceptual analysis to determine the cause of asset failures and reduction in asset capacity
  • Use engineering practices to avoid failures occurring in equipment and processes and identify and manage asset reliability risks
  • Lead others in engineering and facilitating the implementation of complex improvements in asset effectiveness, availability, and maintainability
  • Lead a team of stakeholders in the acquisition and modification of assets to enable the customer to achieve the defined business objectives
  • Be involved in the design and installation stages of projects for new and modification of existing assets
  • Perform analysis of equipment reliability issues and investigations to determine the level of reliability required
  • Acquire process and equipment data and analyze the data to define reliability problems and recommendations for improvements and optimization
  • Develop and update design standards and site-specific operating procedures
  • Participate in technical committees
  • Lead the business decision-making process by providing input to strategic, short-term, and long-term infrastructure planning
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or physics
  • 5+ years of experience implementing and monitoring statistical process controls
  • 5+ years of experience with performing predictive and/or preventative maintenance
  • Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP), Certified Plant Engineer (CPE), Engineer-in-Training (EIT), Professional Engineer (PE)
