Commercial Credit Analyst II

At Mascoma Bank, we're dedicated to making a positive impact on our communities, employees, and environment. As a Commercial Credit Analyst II, you'll play a crucial role in assessing commercial loan risk and communicating effectively with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze financial information for current and prospective borrowers, including financial statements, debt service capacity, company management, loan collateral, industry trends, and guarantor financial capacity.
  • Evaluate commercial loan risk and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Understand and adhere to the Bank's loan and regulatory policies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to foster relationships with borrowers and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Three years of commercial loan underwriting experience preferred.
  • Aptitude to underwrite various types of business structures an asset.
  • B.A. or B.S. in accounting, business administration, or economics, or equivalent combination of education and experience in the business/banking field.
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel programs, and knowledge of financial spreadsheet software including CreditQuest beneficial but not required.
