About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team at UofL Health, providing direct clinical behavioral health and/or substance use services to children, adolescents, adults, and/or geriatric patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide group therapy, family therapy, individual therapy, psychoeducation, discharge planning, and coordinating with community, government, and/or other behavioral health agencies for aftercare services.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment strategies.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in a behavioral health or human services related field.
  • Licensure and certifications: Current certification as a Clinical Social Worker (CSW), Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA), Marriage & Family Therapist Associate (MFTA), Licensed Clinical Alcohol & Drug Counselor Associate (LCADCA), or Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA).
  • Ability to complete Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training and successful completion during new hire orientation.
  • BLS required from American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years of clinical experience in a behavioral health or human service setting.
