Job Summary:

Meadowbrook Treats is seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager in Training to join our team. As a General Manager in Training, you will be responsible for assisting the General Manager in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, maintaining high standards of customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Assist the General Manager in leading and managing a team of restaurant staff, including hiring, training, and developing employees to achieve business objectives.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service, exceeding their expectations and building a loyal customer base.
  • Restaurant Operations: Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including inventory management, cash handling, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Marketing and Sales: Assist in developing and implementing local, regional, and national marketing promotions and activities to drive sales growth and increase brand awareness.
  • Financial Management: Assist in managing the restaurant's profit and loss, including controlling costs, managing labor, and achieving sales targets.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of restaurant management experience, with responsibility for restaurant profit and loss; previous quick service restaurant experience strongly preferred.
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Skills: Strong hospitality and customer service skills, proven track record of effectively managing COGS and labor, strong knowledge and application of safe food handling practices, and excellent coaching and developing skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to work well under pressure, maintain a positive attitude, and exhibit good manners, proper personal hygiene, and promptness.
