Job Summary

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Patient Service Coordinator at Amedisys, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our patient care services. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely scheduling of patient assessment visits, including Oasis visits
• Prepare weekly clinician schedules and review daily to optimize capacity and productivity
• Collaborate with field clinicians to ensure all patient visits are scheduled and completed as ordered
• Manage calls from patients and field staff related to scheduling issues
• Monitor hospitalized patients and communicate with the team as necessary
• Complete requested schedules, including lab draws, supervisory visits, and add-on visits
• Support the Clinical Manager in ensuring timely communication with patients, clinicians, and referral sources

Requirements

• Current, unencumbered LPN license
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• One year of administrative experience in a healthcare environment
• Preferred: one year of scheduling experience in a healthcare environment
