Nurse-Medical Staff Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team at Belton Regional Medical Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the emergency room during their designated shift.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient care.
- Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the emergency room.
- Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies.
- Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff.
- Assist with staff scheduling and manage all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
- EPNC (or PALS) required and TNCC or Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN) required within one year of hire.
- Two (2) years of clinical practice in the clinical specialty of the emergency room and leadership/management experience is preferred.
