Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our finance team at Hedy Holmes Staffing Services. The successful candidate will play a key role in financial reporting, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performing basic AR, banking, Cost and general ledger functions.
  • Ensure monthly closing process, including fuel inventory variance review and analysis, journal entries, reconciliations, margin analysis and management reporting, are completed accurately and timely.
  • Candidate will work collaboratively with supervision to develop permanent role after completion of rotation.
  • Role requires both accuracy and speed in execution of assigned tasks.
  • Must be organized and able to prioritize workload.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to stay on task with minimal supervision.
  • Must be customer oriented and able to work and communicate well with both internal and external constituencies.
  • Demonstrated willingness to perform tasks not directly associated with role, including backing-up coworkers, clerical tasks, and other duties as assigned.
  • Must be excited to learn and grow with the company.
Requirements
  • Strongly prefer a four-year degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or another business-oriented field.
  • Will consider relevant experience in lieu of education
