Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, provisioning, installing, configuring, operating, and maintaining complex IT networks and systems. They will work under the direction of the IT Systems & Security Manager and participate in technical research, vendor engagement, and development to enable continuing innovation within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer, troubleshoot, and perform regular maintenance for both on-premises and cloud-based solutions, including Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Exchange Online, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft SharePoint Online, Enterprise SPAM filtering, and Mobile Device Management.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including system configurations, inventory, standard operating procedures, support procedures, diagrams, disaster recovery procedures, and implementation plans.
  • Assist with procurement, installation, and management in all areas of network technologies such as routers, switches, Wi-Fi, gateways, data centers, VPN, network protocols (TCP/IP and routing protocols), network management platforms, network sniffers, and IP Telephony (VOIP).
  • System installations, hardware and software upgrades, diagnosing, repairing, and daily monitoring of enterprise systems to ensure optimal infrastructure performance and high availability.
  • Assist with Enterprise Backup and Recovery administration.
  • Recommend improvements to the organization's technology systems, services, and network infrastructure.
  • Provide high-quality and prompt level II and III technical support while serving as a lead member of the IT Team.
  • Work with third-party vendors and developers to coordinate the resolution of problems, issues, and systems integration needs.
Requirements:
  • Four (4+) years' experience performing systems, network and database administration duties, Computer Science or equivalent combination of education, experience, or training.
  • Bachelors in computer science or equivalent years of experience.
  • Server+, Network+, Security +, CCNA, CCSK, or equivalent certification is highly recommended.
  • Must have working knowledge and hands-on experience with various technologies including, but not limited to: Microsoft Server operating systems, Microsoft Active Directory & Administrative Services and related domain services, Microsoft Office 365, Azure/Entra Infrastructure & related cloud services, Microsoft Windows 10, 11 SharePoint Online, Intune, Exchange Online, Experience in endpoint security management and best practices, Experience in mobile device management, Experience with email filtering services and email hygiene, Experience with Server Virtualization Technologies (VMware/Hyper-V/Nutanix), Experience with enterprise SAN and NAS technologies, Experience with Microsoft Dataverse, PowerShell, Power Apps, Power Pages, Dynamics 365, Experience with Linux operating systems, Experience with Microsoft SQL server administration, SQL Queries, and stored procedures, Experience with Fortinet Firewalls, Cisco Meraki networking switches, Arista switches, load balancers, and high-availability architectures.
  • Advanced network design (Layer 2/3) and administration, troubleshooting techniques and methodologies, knowledge and experience with network segmentation and general design best practices.
  • Knowledge of risk management frameworks, CMMC 2.0, NIST CSF, NIST RMF, CIS, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001.
  • Knowledge of zero-trust principles and architecture.
Travel Requirements:

The travel requirement for this role is approximately 15% - 20%, mostly consisting of scheduled travel by car to data centers or offices in Washington and Oregon. Additionally, domestic travel by air and/or to other company regions will be required on an occasional basis.
