Job Summary

At Pearle Vision, we are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Optical Sales Professional to join our team. As an Optical Sales Professional, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional patient experience, fostering patient retention, and promoting outstanding doctor satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Sales Growth: Foster a retail selling culture by practicing effective retail sales skills and utilizing sales techniques to drive profitable store sales.
  • Develop Business Relationships: Develop professional business relationships with other associates and doctors to promote a positive and results-oriented work environment.
  • Optical Services: Fill ophthalmic eyeglass prescriptions, fit and adapt lenses and frames, and provide patients with recommendations for specific lenses and lens coatings to suit their needs.
  • Quality Patient Experience: Ensure a quality patient experience through correct pricing, POS entry, and realistic delivery time quotes.
  • Marketing and Merchandising: Assist with the timely execution of approved marketing programs and initiatives, and implement appropriate signage and promotions according to company standards.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
Requirements
  • Sales Skills: Ability to sell through the use of sales skills and accountability for sales results.
  • Customer Service: Experience and proven results with a retail or customer service establishment.
  • Communication: Ability to present and implement decisive and creative solutions to opportunities to grow the business.
  • Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and follow-up.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, or comparable experience typically achieved with a minimum of 1-2 years in a retail environment.
