Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, estates, and corporations, as well as property and sales & use tax returns.
  • Draft correspondence for tax authorities and create detailed work papers.
  • Identify accounting and income tax challenges and propose effective strategies for resolution.
  • Assist in tax planning and conduct research on technical accounting issues.
  • Support quarterly state estimated taxes and extensions.
  • Facilitate any state income/franchise and sales & use tax examinations.
  • Review fixed assets to ensure compliance with tax depreciation methods and useful lives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Lacerte, Intuit ProConnect Online, QuickBooks Online, or other equivalent accounting software.
  • A genuine desire to learn and grow within the tax field, along with a passion for tax-related work.
