Job Title: Cashier/Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier/Sales Associate to join our team at GPM Investments LLC. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing sales transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Greet customers with a friendly demeanor, provide fast and efficient service, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Cash Handling: Accurately process sales transactions, manage cash refunds and exchanges, and maintain a secure and organized cash handling area.
  • Shift Change: Participate in the shift change process, counting money at the beginning and end of each shift, and ensuring accurate inventory levels.
  • Specialty Products: Process specialty products, including money orders, credit card purchases, checks, and lottery sales and redemptions.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, restock shelves, and ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Sanitation and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe store environment, adhering to company sanitation and safety procedures.
Requirements:
  • Age Requirement: Must be 18 years of age or older (21 years of age or older in certain states).
  • Availability: Must be able to work weekends and holidays, embracing the full rhythm of retail.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively.
  • Math Proficiency: Basic math skills required, including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
  • Physical Ability: Capable of frequently lifting 10 lbs and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Pre-Employment Screening: Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and be subject to a criminal history background check.
