Duke Regional Hospital seeks an Advanced Respiratory Therapist to join our dynamic team. As a key member, you will perform diagnostic and therapeutic clinical procedures for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patient populations.
As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for:
- Evaluating appropriateness of medical orders
- Proficiently applying mechanical ventilator modalities
- Performing endotracheal intubation under supervision
- Serving as a member of the code/emergency team
- Administering medical gases and inserting tubes
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A completion of a 2-year AMA-approved respiratory care program
- North Carolina State Licensure and Registry (RRT) certification
- Certification in Basic Life Support, ACLS, and PALS
