Senior Project Manager

Acrylicize is a multidisciplinary studio that brings together artists, designers, and creatives to deliver bespoke artworks, installations, and schemes for our clients. We use art as a vehicle for storytelling and brand expression, working with leading developers, brands, architects, and designers.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the studio, overseeing client relationships and project logistics from initial briefing to installation. You will work closely with the Projects Team, New Business Team, Global Creative Director, and CEO to ensure seamless project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
  • Deliver projects within agreed budget and deadlines, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution
  • Develop and manage project budgets, including estimates, quotes, and finalised fee agreements
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources to meet project objectives
  • Negotiate and agree prices with suppliers, ensuring the best value for clients
  • Provide regular updates to the CEO and Global Account Director on project budget-related issues
  • Keep the project team informed of key deliverables and progress, ensuring alignment and collaboration
  • Work closely with the Operations Director and Global Creative Director to resource design time and talent
  • Collaborate with creatives to advise on project execution, materiality, and techniques
  • Source materials, products, and props for projects, ensuring quality and timeliness
  • Coordinate site visits and communicate project information to the internal team
  • Oversee installations on site, ensuring a high-quality finish
  • Act as the primary point of communication for clients, suppliers, and collaborators

Requirements:

  • Education in Architecture or Design
  • Prior project management experience in a creative studio
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale, three-dimensional projects, working with diverse teams and on-site logistics
  • Experience handling client accounts and dealing directly with large clients
  • Experience working with significant production budgets up to $1,000,000
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to meet deadlines under pressure
  • Excellent team player attitude
  • Hunger to continuously improve the studio's output
