Senior Implementation Manager

Volt is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Implementation Manager to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of various projects, ensuring timely and efficient execution, and providing guidance to team members.

• Quality Control Inspections & Hold Points: Conduct thorough inspections to ensure quality control and identify areas for improvement.
• Test & Commissioning Plans: Develop and implement comprehensive test and commissioning plans to ensure seamless project execution.
• Clearance Orders & Turnover Strategy: Develop and implement effective clearance orders and turnover strategies to ensure smooth project handovers.
• Materials, Tools & Specialty Tooling: Source and procure necessary materials, tools, and specialty tooling to support project execution.
• Resource Load Boards (including mobilization and demobilization strategy): Develop and implement resource load boards to optimize project resource allocation and ensure efficient mobilization and demobilization.
• Budget / Estimate: Develop and manage project budgets and estimates, ensuring accurate cost projections and effective resource allocation.
• Radiological Strategies: Develop and implement radiological strategies to ensure safe and compliant project execution.
• Rigging / Material Handling Plans Technical: Develop and implement comprehensive rigging and material handling plans to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
• Remediation of identified WOTs: Identify and remediate quality control issues, ensuring timely and efficient project execution.
• Reviewing, commenting, and providing improvements to testing and/or acceptance plans: Provide expert feedback and guidance on testing and acceptance plans to ensure high-quality project execution.
• Identifying activities and/or processes that would benefit from a mock-up: Identify opportunities for mock-ups to improve project execution and provide expert guidance on mock-up development and implementation.
• Providing input and guidance on making said mock-ups effective and impactful: Provide expert guidance on mock-up development and implementation to ensure effective and impactful project execution.
• Communicating personal Operating Experience and identifying industry and/or similar Operating Experiences associated with project activities: Share personal operating experience and identify relevant industry and/or similar operating experiences to inform project execution.
• Serve as the ASME PIC for Section XI Repair & Replacement Plan work scope: Serve as the ASME PIC for Section XI Repair & Replacement Plan work scope, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Responsible for maintaining broad knowledge base of associated codes, standards, innovative technologies, technical skillsets (ex: welding, rigging, soldering, etc.), implementation strategies (ex: crew placement, turnovers, etc.), and general industry trends as related to the Enterprise Risk Projects being supported: Maintain a broad knowledge base of relevant codes, standards, technologies, and industry trends to inform project execution.
• Responsible for providing timely and candid feedback to the Project Manager(s), Oversight Manager(s), and Department Management on all aspects of a project strategy, implementation plan, or any other facet that supports successful execution of a project: Provide timely and candid feedback to project stakeholders on project strategy, implementation plan, and other relevant aspects.
• Provide oversight of shop or field activities, ensuring activities are progressing against the approved project strategy, providing coaching as needed to preclude changes in the plan: Provide oversight of shop or field activities, ensuring timely and efficient project execution and providing coaching as needed.
• Serve as the designated person in charge of project activities on the shift opposite of the Project Manager: Serve as the designated person in charge of project activities on the shift opposite of the Project Manager, ensuring smooth project execution.

• Skilled in Enterprise Management Software (Asset Suite, SAP, etc.): Proficient in enterprise management software, including Asset Suite and SAP.
• Intimately familiar with logic driven schedules (generated by Primavera and/or Microsoft Project): Experienced in creating and managing logic-driven schedules using Primavera and/or Microsoft Project.
• Code and regulatory requirements as they relate to maintenance and field work activities: Knowledgeable about relevant codes and regulations governing maintenance and field work activities.
• Error reduction and human performance improvement methods, and cost-effective work execution methodologies: Experienced in error reduction and human performance improvement methods, and cost-effective work execution methodologies.
• Procedures and processes related to maintenance and engineering activities: Familiar with procedures and processes related to maintenance and engineering activities.

• Experience in construction management: Experienced in construction management, with a focus on project execution and team leadership.
• Experience in multiple refuelling outages at a commercial nuclear powerplant: Experienced in multiple refuelling outages at a commercial nuclear powerplant, with a focus on project execution and team leadership.
• Experience with the production and operational processes at a commercial nuclear powerplant: Experienced in production and operational processes at a commercial nuclear powerplant, with a focus on project execution and team leadership.
• Proven experience with feedwater heaters and internals of feedwater heaters: Experienced in feedwater heaters and internals of feedwater heaters, with a focus on project execution and team leadership.
• Proven experience with steam systems and/or work associated with ASME Boiler Pressure Vessel code vessels, heat exchangers, piping, and valves: Experienced in steam systems and/or work associated with ASME Boiler Pressure Vessel code vessels, heat exchangers, piping, and valves, with a focus on project execution and team leadership.
• Certifications associated with mechanical disciplines, construction, or projects are desired: Holding certifications in mechanical disciplines, construction, or projects is desirable.

$95.00 to $115.00 per hour. Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
