Job Title: English Teacher

We are seeking experienced and passionate English teachers who can deliver tailored instruction to our students. Fluency in Mandarin is an advantage in communicating with students and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach English to elementary and middle school students, focusing on reading, writing, comprehension, and communication skills.
  • Prepare students for English-related components of standardized exams, including SAT, AP, and others, by offering effective study strategies and test preparation.
  • Design and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the needs of students with different levels of proficiency.
  • Track and assess students' progress, providing regular feedback and recommendations to parents for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers to develop and enhance educational materials that foster a dynamic and interactive learning environment.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in English, education, or a related field.
  • Experience teaching English at the elementary and middle school levels, and with standardized test preparation (SAT/AP).
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English to effectively communicate with students and parents (preferred but not required).
  • Strong passion for education, along with patience, creativity, and excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds, especially new immigrant families.
