  • Scheduling: Help prepare and manage work schedules for housekeeping staff.
  • Team Meetings: Conduct daily briefings with housekeeping associates in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper.
  • Coaching and Development: Provide guidance and support to team members to uphold policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Inspect guest rooms and common areas to ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards.
  • Daily Inspections: Perform regular walk-throughs of the hotel to assess cleanliness and maintenance needs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with management and maintenance teams to address preventative maintenance issues promptly.
  • Quality Control: Assist in conducting daily quality checks and provide necessary training for housekeeping staff.
  • Financial Oversight: Help maintain financial records, prepare budgets, and enforce cost control measures within the housekeeping department.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in organizing and controlling inventory for guest and housekeeping supplies.
  • Safety Standards: Adhere to safe work practices and standards as outlined by the company.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other housekeeping tasks as required during peak periods or as directed by management.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a hospitality or service-oriented environment, with a strong background in customer service.
  • Proven supervisory experience in housekeeping.
  • Experience working in a hotel setting is essential.
  • Familiarity with Property Management Systems is preferred.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with guests.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal communication abilities.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's Degree or higher is preferred.
Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to stand for extended periods, walk, push, lift up to 25 pounds, bend, reach, kneel, or crouch. Candidates must be capable of pushing and pulling carts and equipment weighing up to 100 lbs.
