Job Overview

Akiva Technologies LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Programmer to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-grade applications. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers, designing and developing web applications, and ensuring the highest quality of our software products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of developers through the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-grade applications.
  • Design, code, compile, test, debug, and document new and existing web applications, maintenance, and support of existing applications.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews and testing on new code.
  • Participate in all necessary team meetings and design sessions in accordance with Scrum ceremonies.
  • Provide technical knowledge transfer, training, documentation, mentorship, and guidance to State personnel for all requested work.
  • Monitor, review, and audit performance of the customer-agency's replacement software and make performance improvements.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of expertise and/or relevant experience in C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, and Agile/Scrum environments.
  • 2+ years of experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • 2+ years of experience delivering enterprise software solutions.
  • 1+ years of experience leading a development team of two or more developers.
Desired Skills
  • 2+ years of expertise and/or relevant experience in.Net version 5 or greater, VueJS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, SQL Server (T-SQL), IIS, Distributed Design Systems (SOA/Microservices), and DevOps Practices (CI/CD) and Systems.
  • Experience with monitoring/observability platforms and instrumenting applications to trace transactions and provide timely alerts around issues.
  • Experience developing architecture for enterprise-grade applications.
