Job Title: Senior Application Programmer No. 1

At Smart IMS, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Application Programmer to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented individual with expertise in SAP Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) to design, code, and test complex applications programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for individually responding to computer system emergencies, researching and resolving technical problems, and providing expert advice and guidance to colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, code, and test complex applications programs using ABAP
  • Individually respond to computer system emergencies and resolve problems independently or in consultation with other IT staff
  • Research and resolve technical problems of a highly technical nature
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues on specialized application tools, hardware, software, and databases
  • Provide training to IT staff on databases, tools, techniques, and procedures relevant to applications maintenance and development
  • Research new developments in hardware and software and stay up-to-date with the latest technologies
  • Implement complex in-house and vendor-supplied applications software
  • Evaluate and analyze technical solutions or options related to operating and managing an information system
  • Define data elements, design database structures, and write and compile definitions and descriptions of data elements
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Ten (10) plus years of expertise and/or relevant experience in SAP Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP)
  • Expertise and/or relevant experience in Web Dynpro for ABAP, SAP Web IDE, SAP Fiori, SAP UI5, JAVA/JavaScript, SAP Adobe Lifecycle Designer, and SAP Workflow is desirable but not mandatory
