Position Overview: Broadcast Support Specialist

Compensation: $40 - $50/hour W2, commensurate with experience
Contract Duration: 6+ months

As a vital member of the Media Engineering Operations Support Team, you will engage in providing exceptional 24/7 remote assistance, tackling and managing every technical challenge that arises.

Requests for support may be received through various channels including tickets, emails, chats, phone communications, and automated notifications.

This role encompasses a variety of operational responsibilities such as assisting with cloud-based applications, remote diagnostics, password management, access authorizations, account provisioning and de-provisioning, vendor coordination, as well as training on applications and security protocols, alongside maintaining documentation.

Your daily tasks will involve prioritizing, addressing, escalating, and scheduling all incoming internal technology support inquiries. Collaboration with cross-functional technology and operational teams will be essential to ensure that requests are efficiently routed and resolved, all while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

The Support Specialist is also responsible for setting clear expectations with ticket requesters and ensuring that all ticket details are accurately recorded.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Timely response to tickets in the team incident queue.
2. Escalation of issues to engineering, infrastructure, and leadership teams during significant incidents.
3. Acknowledgment of active infrastructure alerts and swift assessment of severity and resolution.
4. Execution of regular maintenance tasks, which may include coordinating maintenance windows with stakeholders and technical teams.
