About the Position:

The Behavioral Wellness Center at Girard is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Training Coordinator and Clinical Psychologist to join our team. As a key member of our psychology department, you will be responsible for supervising interns and students, providing psychotherapy, conducting psychological assessments, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Psychology Interns, providing direct clinical supervision in psychodiagnostics and psychotherapy.
  • Conduct psychological assessments, including administering, scoring, and interpreting various assessment instruments.
  • Provide leadership in treatment team documentation responsibilities, including Treatment Team Review Notes and Initial and Comprehensive Treatment Plans.
  • Initiate proactive psychological management to ensure continuity of care and treatment planning.
  • Attend all team meetings for designated work areas and participate in interdisciplinary team functioning.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure by the State of Pennsylvania Board of Psychological Examiners for professional practice of psychology.
  • Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution with completion of a one-year supervised clinical internship.
  • At least two years of experience in clinical psychology in a community mental health center, mental hospital, school for the intellectually disabled, or other settings involving the use of psychodiagnostics, psychotherapy, and projective techniques.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $105,000 per year, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
