About the Position:

The Ladders is an innovative and rapidly expanding company seeking a full-time Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst. This role is designed for remote work and will be a vital part of the Finance Team, focusing on supporting executive requests and delivering in-depth business reviews. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, possesses strong reporting skills, and demonstrates both creativity and analytical thinking. You will report directly to the VP of Finance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate comprehensive financial reports and analyses for executive meetings.
  • Design and sustain intricate financial models to facilitate strategic decision-making.
  • Engage directly with senior leadership, investors, and board members.
  • Evaluate business performance and provide actionable insights to management.
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams to collect and interpret financial data.
  • Prepare and present business-level updates to stakeholders.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning activities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; an MBA is advantageous.
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A or similar finance roles.
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling techniques.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is preferred.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, with a proven history of supporting C-level executives and board members.
  • Ability to distill complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.
  • Experience in a fast-paced or evolving industry, showcasing adaptability to changing business landscapes.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to influence decision-making across various departments.
  • A proactive mindset in identifying areas for process enhancement and implementing innovative solutions.
  • Excellent project management skills, adept at managing multiple high-priority tasks under tight deadlines.
  • A strategic outlook, capable of linking financial analysis to broader business goals and market dynamics.
  • Experience with advanced financial modeling techniques and scenario analysis.
  • Solid understanding of corporate finance principles and best practices in FP&A.
  • Outstanding presentation skills, with the ability to create compelling narratives around financial data.
